The Mercer Health 5K Challenge got off to a great start Saturday, June 15th with the Zuma 5K.  319 enthusiastic runners/walkers participated in the event.  Congratulations to the Zuma 5K volunteers including first year race director, Stacy Braun!  They did an awesome job with the event from start to finish.

The Challenge moves on to the Maria Stein Countryfest 5K this Sunday, June 23rd with a 9:00 start.  This race always draws large numbers of both competitive runners as well as casual runners and walkers.  It is certainly a race you will want to attend.

PLEASE NOTE:  The following week, Saturday, June 29th, Fort Recovery will host the St. Clair 5K.  This is a different  date than in the past and will be part of the Fort Recovery Jubilee celebration.

If you are planning on running 6 of the 8 Challenge races, it's not too early to submit your shirt size.  Please click on the SUBMIT SHIRT SIZE tab on the left and enter your information.
